The RAAD Project Team obtained the Branly-Chirac museum’s 70,000 records in raw data format. These records then served as the project’s meta-data set, from which the team further curated a data subset of 50 artifacts from 5 African countries in the North, South, East, and West quadrants of the African continent. The result is a representative sample database titled The RAAD Project Database 1.0.
The RAAD Team is currently seeking permission to use the images of each record.
